Matti’s journey into the film industry began at just 10 years old, when he and his brother launched their own VHS rental business—serving friends and neighbors in their apartment building. He graduated with a degree in Media Technology Engineering in 2006 and has worked in the audiovisual field since 2007.

With nearly two decades of experience, Matti specializes in project management, scheduling, and mastering. He combines strong communication and interpersonal skills with deep technical knowledge of both legacy and current mastering formats. Over the years, he has collaborated with film distributors, production houses and sales companies across Finland, the Nordics, and Europe.

Outside of work, Matti enjoys outdoor activities with his family, cooking, and volunteering as an assistant coach for his son’s football team. A lifelong learner, he’s also an avid reader and returns to hobbies like cycling, Krav Maga, jogging, squash and badminton whenever time allows.
