Color Grading
Color has always been one of the key definitions of a film's quality, display of the creator's skill and a subtle tool to convey emotion. Challenge to capture and deliver the original creative intent and the best possible quality is accelerated by the ever expanding range of cameras and recording devices (including AI and film!). In addition, multiple delivery formats are needed to satisfy consumer appetites at home, in cinemas and on all Social Media and OOH platforms.
Post Control Color Workflow
Mastering the color workflow has never been more exciting or demanding. In our DI workflow, color is managed by international caliber Colorists able to offer deep technical expertise in capturing and delivering the look as intended. Our cinema grading suites are equipped with Christie 4K/2K projectors and Lustre, Baselight and Resolve systems. The main theater has a 6m (20ft) screen and for HDR grading we have a Sony X300 display.
For those with extra busy schedules or cross-border productions, we also offer remote live grading.
Project Management
Post-production is a managed process shared in close collaboration with all parties. Scheduling, budgeting and quality are constantly at loggerheads. Producing post is very much a hands-on role shepherding creative and technical challenges on a daily basis.
Toni, Joni, Tomi, Jukka and Petri are Post Control's producers with over 100 years of combined industry experience.
Remote Workflow
We have systems in place to manage projects' workflows remotely with secure and live monitoring of offline editing, color grading, sound and VFX work. Communication, review and approval is possible through project/client specific MIO or LucidLink. Login credentials provided by our producers.
Sound Design
Creating high profile audio for storytelling. We can provide a fully featured sound package, and together with the other departments at Post Control, fulfill any producer’s wish for a reliable one-stop partnership.
Our services include sound design, dialogue editing, SFX and background editing, re-recording mixing for feature films, series and commercials as well as ADR and VO recordings.
Remote workflow is organized with Source Elements software. This is a great alternative for directors to join ADR sessions, work with a sound designer or even approve masters in 5.1.
One of our greatest strengths is the closely knit relationship with the editorial, grading and VFX departments. We believe that in order to make outstanding stories, all elements must work together towards a common vision. We are set up to do just that.
VISUAL EFFECTS

Technical Services & Deliveries
Post Control's full-service concept can be tailored individually to each project, and we are able to take care of an extensive range of supportive functions during a film shoot and its post-production.
DIT services can be arranged near the set or via our data lab. Assembly editors can also be attached. We provide automated and eyeball QC, including PSE check, and have experience delivering content to most major global broadcasters, distributors and VOD platforms. Furthermore, 2K/4K/Atmos DCP mastering and preview can be completed in-house.
Secure digital deliveries can be arranged through our MediaShuttle or LucidLink accounts.
Post Control Studio Infrastructure
We have a long-lasting maintenance partnership with TV Tools who look after our infra. Currently running a 40Gb network with access to 1.4 PB of shared storage. You can read more about this on the Elements website.
